What this site does
The official DWP jobcentre finder only answers one question: which offices are near a full postcode. It has no list you can browse, no page per office and no guidance next to the address. Jobcentre Offices brings the 616 offices it returns into one directory, organised by 11 regions and by local authority, with a page for each jobcentre: address, postcode, map, the nearest other offices, the phone numbers to use and what to do before and after an appointment.
The guides summarise GOV.UK guidance on claiming Universal Credit, identity documents, the claimant commitment and sanctions, and link to the original page so you can check it.
Who runs it
The site is researched and edited by Agustin Mendez, an independent publisher of public-service directories. Every address was checked against the DWP finder (latest check 3 October 2026), and every rule in the guides is taken from GOV.UK. We do not claim personal experience of using UK jobcentres; our job is to collect the official information accurately and present it clearly.
What we are not
We are not part of the Department for Work and Pensions, Jobcentre Plus or GOV.UK, and we cannot see, change or speed up any claim or appointment. Corrections are welcome: contact us. See how we verify.
