Who we are
Jobcentre Offices is an independent information website edited by Agustin Mendez (Pinamar, Argentina). Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
We have no accounts, forms or newsletters. If you email us, we use your message only to reply.
Postcode search
When you type a postcode in the nearest-jobcentre search, your browser sends it directly to postcodes.io, a free open-data service, to get its approximate location. It is not sent to us and we do not store it.
Location button
The "Use my location" button works in your browser only. Your position is used to sort jobcentres by distance and is never sent to us.
Third-party services
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, icons and the Leaflet map library from cdnjs, map tiles from OpenStreetMap and embedded maps from Google Maps. These providers receive your IP address and browser details when the content loads, under their own privacy policies.
Advertising and cookies
We may show ads from Google AdSense to fund the site. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Where required you will be asked for consent first, and you can manage personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access or delete any personal data we hold about you (in practice, only emails you sent us). You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
